Our new aboebae Lamp consists of a glass bottle and a metal base fitted with a 25 watt light-bulb. The lamp bottle is filled with specially formulated liquid (including water and coloured 'liquid wax') as well as a metal coil at the bottom to conduct heat.
Why we call it Amoebae Lamp, It is because when the lamp is switched on, the coloured 'liquid wax' in the glass bottle will be warmed up. After a while, the coloured 'liquid wax' will change to bubbles in irregular shapes and sizes like amoebae which will go up and down continuously. |
